If you are a non-vaccinated student in Würzburg, please check the "Katalog WÜ" on the library homepage first to see what you need. Good news: we have more electronic media than almost any other university in Bavaria, and you can get it all as full text at the push of a button as usual (don't forget external access!).

That leaves our 150,000 printed books. If you have found one in the catalog, check the status to see if it is actually available in Würzburg (shelfmark starts with 1...) (status "loanable copy available"). Please save the signature (e.g. 1000/AP 39480 R258).

Now write a mail to bib-wue@thws.de. It contains your name, your 083 number and the signatures of the books you would like to have. If you like, you can suggest a preferred pickup time within the pickup period.

Soon we will send you a reply mail and if everything fits, you will receive a pick-up time (always Monday to Thursday 13-15).

Attention: No reply mail, no pick-up! The books will be handed out outside the building in front of the entrance Sanderring 8, the pickup is only possible with FFP2 mask!

When I get a reply mail, I stand in front of the entrance door of the library in the notified collection period and call 0931/35116242. With the indication that I am now there, the door opens and I get my books handed over.

And in Schweinfurt? The same procedure, except that the e-mail address here is bib-sw@thws.de and the telephone number is 09721/9406252. The books are handed out outside the building in front of the Mensa entrance, and can only be collected if you wear an FFP2 mask!
