Events For Schools

In connection with the Academic Seminars (W-Seminare) in higher classes of secondary schools and/or colleges (Gymnasium, FOS, BOS, FAKS), we offer introductions to using the library as well as trainings for researching and getting literature beyond Wikipedia and Google.

Training contents:

• Using the library, searching in OPAC and developing search strategies as well as interlibrary loans will be intensively discussed.
• More databases, especially the database information system DBIS, can be explained, if necessary.
• Introductions can be tailored according to your specific needs. There is also the possibility to do exercises during trainings.
• Course dates and duration can be arranged individually; we can tailor these courses according to your schedule (usual course duration is 60 minutes, but we can also arrange shorter or longer courses).
